The new luxury of our society is tranquility. While we offer WIFI throughout all rooms, you will notice we do not have any TVs.
This is the place for a real escape and immersion into timeless Sarlat, which means you will find your room a cocoon of serenity.
All rooms feature complimentary Damana organic shampoo and soap, bottled water, air-conditioning, and hair dryers. The small galley kitchen on the first floor is stocked daily with fresh fruit, a variety of cold beverages, snacks, and hot tea and expresso.
Rooms are accessed via the stairs (no elevator)
Located on the first floor, the Milandes room is done in a very elegant and refined French style.
It features a queen-sized bed with handmade V-Spring mattress, renowned for its comfort and luxury, and a traditional sitting area.
The double French doors flood the room with sunlight and afford a beautiful view of the Petite Rigaudie gardens. The en-suite bathroom features a walk-in shower.
Located on the second floor, the Puymartin room is the smallest but has the unique feature of its own rooftop terrace and is completely private.
Bring your telescope and admire the Dordogne stars at night! The queen-sized bed with its V-Spring mattress is renowned for luxury, quality, and support. The en-suite bathroom features an oversized soaking tub.
Please note that smoking is strictly forbidden on the terrace and guests will be subject to a cleaning penalty of minimum 200€. Due to strict fire regulations, there are no exceptions to this policy.
Located on the second floor, the Fénelon room overlooks the elegant Petite Rigaudie gardens.
The exposed timbered beams from the 1800s exude the warmth and texture of the Dordogne countryside. There are twin-sized beds that can be attached or separate and a handmade V-Spring mattress, renowned for its luxury, quality, and support.
A small sitting area with desk next to the French windows makes for a perfect writing or study space in the morning or evenings. The large en-suite bathroom features a walk-in shower.
This gorgeous extra-large room is located on the first floor and features a king-sized bed fitted with a special V-spring mattress for superb comfort.

The Castelnaud room is located on the second floor and, as are all the suites, very large.

acekingqueenjack12 Octobre 2023Wonderful B & B My husband and I stayed here for a week in early October and it was a great choice. The owner, Jeffery Klein, is very hands on - he personally did much of the lovely renovation work on the hotel, and is a gracious host. The location of Les Cordeliers is excellent- being on the edge of the historic district and a very easy two minute walk to the beautiful, but busy, Place de la Liberte'. Our room was very comfortable, quiet, clean and attractively decorated. It was nice to be able to wander around Sarlat for awhile and come back to our room to take a break before going out again. Breakfasts were great- with lots of fresh fruit options, pastries, bread, yogurt, cereal, etc. And there is a wonderful coffee machine that brewed some fo the best coffee we had on the entire trip. Should our travels bring us back to Périgord Noir, we would definitely book a stay at Les Cordeliers again. Sarlat is the perfect base for exploring the many attractions in the area.Ben W29 Septembre 2023A Week at Les Cordeliers, in Sarlat, France My wife and I spent a week in Sarlat at the end of August 2023, staying at Les Cordeliers, a small, perfectly located B and B less than a 1 minute walk from the historic city center. This classicly renovated 19th Century stone mansion exudes the comforts enjoyed by nobility of a bygone era. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Jeffrey Klein, our host, was uncommongly attentative to detail, and more than available with suggestions designed to enhance our stay. Breakfast choices were plentiful and of high quality. The hotel is in a grand old building and has been painstakingly restored. Everything oozes charm, character and taste. Our room had a magnificent view over an historic square. We particularly enjoyed the really amazing breakfast. And the host was great at recommending which villages to visit. Our room, Marzac, overlooked a pretty square and all the town was within easy access. Geoffrey was an excellent host, always available to ask for advice and keen to ensure our comfort. Breakfasts offered a range of options and it was lovely to be introduced to the other guests. After unloading our luggage Geoffrey advised us where to park the car for free and it was only a 5 minute walk away.
