ExcellentBasée sur 719 avisacekingqueenjack12 Octobre 2023Wonderful B & B My husband and I stayed here for a week in early October and it was a great choice. The owner, Jeffery Klein, is very hands on - he personally did much of the lovely renovation work on the hotel, and is a gracious host. The location of Les Cordeliers is excellent- being on the edge of the historic district and a very easy two minute walk to the beautiful, but busy, Place de la Liberte'. Our room was very comfortable, quiet, clean and attractively decorated. It was nice to be able to wander around Sarlat for awhile and come back to our room to take a break before going out again. Breakfasts were great- with lots of fresh fruit options, pastries, bread, yogurt, cereal, etc. And there is a wonderful coffee machine that brewed some fo the best coffee we had on the entire trip. Should our travels bring us back to Périgord Noir, we would definitely book a stay at Les Cordeliers again. Sarlat is the perfect base for exploring the many attractions in the area.Ben W29 Septembre 2023A Week at Les Cordeliers, in Sarlat, France My wife and I spent a week in Sarlat at the end of August 2023, staying at Les Cordeliers, a small, perfectly located B and B less than a 1 minute walk from the historic city center. This classicly renovated 19th Century stone mansion exudes the comforts enjoyed by nobility of a bygone era. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Jeffrey Klein, our host, was uncommongly attentative to detail, and more than available with suggestions designed to enhance our stay. Breakfast choices were plentiful and of high quality. We enthusiastically recommend Les Cordeliers, Sarlat and the Dordogne region to travelers interested in the world of a different era!Melissa G17 Septembre 2023Highly recommend Our host, Jeff, was magnificent. From our first encounter his passion for Sarlat and hosting was evident. Without a doubt the breakfast was the healthiest and best of our stays. The room was large and very comfortable and the town was a perfect jumping off point for our adventuresbraithwaite1228 Juin 2023Perfect Sarlat destination The perfect destination for a quality luxurious stay in a small environment. My third visit and even better this time. Our host is most welcoming and ensures he introduces all the guests to each other over breakfast. One could hardly be nearer to medieval Sarlat and the wealth of bars, cafes and bistros, let alone the interesting things to discover and see in the pld city and beautiful surrounding area.vs6824 Juin 2023Amazing property in the centre of Sarlat Absolutely beautiful hotel in Sarlat - just on the edge of the historic centre. The hotel is in a grand old building and has been painstakingly restored. Everything oozes charm, character and taste. Our room had a magnificent view over an historic square. We particularly enjoyed the really amazing breakfast. And the host was great at recommending which villages to visit. Would highly recommend this hotel to friends.fozwanderer10 Juin 2023Central location and excellent host We stayed at Les Cordeliers for 5 nights and could not have been more comfortable. Our room, Marzac, overlooked a pretty square and all the town was within easy access. Geoffrey was an excellent host, always available to ask for advice and keen to ensure our comfort. Breakfasts offered a range of options and it was lovely to be introduced to the other guests. After unloading our luggage Geoffrey advised us where to park the car for free and it was only a 5 minute walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.Lynne J7 Juin 2023A highlight of our month in France Our stay at Les Cordeliers was a highlight of our month in France.
